What is Ketamine-assisted psychotherapy?
Ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP) is a cutting-edge treatment that combines the therapeutic effects of ketamine with guided psychotherapy. Ketamine, an FDA-approved medication traditionally used as an anesthetic, has gained attention in recent years for its profound and rapid therapeutic benefits, especially in mental health care.
Where do you do the Ketamine treatment for adults?
We provide both at-home and in-clinic Ketamine Assisted Therapy.
How does Ketamine work?
Ketamine acts on the brain’s glutamate system, which plays a crucial role in mood regulation and cognitive functions. Unlike conventional antidepressants, which typically take weeks to show effects, ketamine can produce rapid relief from symptoms such as depression, anxiety, burnout and PTSD.
What happens in Ketamine-assisted therapy?

Ketamine therapy typically involves a series of carefully monitored sessions where ketamine is administered either via infusion, injection, or lozenge. During these sessions:

    1. Preparation: The therapist works with you to set intentions and establish a safe, supportive environment.
    2. Ketamine Administration: Under medical supervision, ketamine is administered, and you may experience altered states of consciousness or perceptual changes.
    3. Therapeutic Exploration: As the ketamine takes effect, a therapist guides you through the experience, helping you explore thoughts, feelings, and memories in a new light.
    4. Integration: After the ketamine session, you and your therapist discuss the experience and integrate insights into your ongoing treatment plan, aiming to foster long-term psychological growth and symptom relief.

Is Ketamine safe?
When administered in a clinical setting by trained professionals, ketamine is considered safe and well-tolerated. The doses used in therapy are significantly lower than those used for anesthesia and are tailored to minimize side effects while maximizing therapeutic benefits. Common side effects can include dizziness, mild dissociation, or nausea, but these are generally short-lived and manageable.
Who can benefit from Ketamine-assisted therapy?
Ketamine Therapy can be particularly beneficial for individuals who have not responded to traditional treatments for conditions such as:

  • Depression
  • Anxiety Disorders
  • Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
  • Chronic Pain
  • Burnout

It is important to undergo a thorough assessment by a healthcare professional to determine if KAP is suitable for your specific needs.

Why choose Ketamine-assisted therapy?
Ketamine-assisted therapy offers a novel approach to mental health treatment, providing rapid relief and the potential for deep psychological healing. By combining the biochemical effects of ketamine with psychotherapeutic support, KAP can help you break through barriers in your mental health journey and achieve lasting change.
How would I know if I’m a good fit for Ketamine treatment?
Ketamine treatment is available for adults 21+ and is used for conditions such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and burnout. To determine if you are a good fit, we will conduct a thorough screening process to assess your medical history, current symptoms, and overall suitability for this treatment. This ensures that ketamine therapy is a safe and effective option for you.
